    Dear Electoral Boundaries Commission,

I've lived in Surrey most of my life--presently I live on 146 Street and 80 B Avenue in Fleetwood. I want to thank you for your hard and valuable work. The boundaries and names put forward for Surrey seem to be pretty good. We definitely need another MLA, especially since there are so many parts of BC with way less people and way too many MLAs. I know MLAs can't line up perfectly with the separate areas of Surrey, but when I look at your map it's pretty close.

I understand why you're adding another MLA for Surrey, but I don't like the idea of even more politicians living off our tax dollars. If you can fix the districts without adding MLAs I think this would be a better approach. If you can't, I suppose I can live with it because it's important for our votes to count equally.

My neighbourhood is Fleetwood. I think I was under the Tynehead MLA before a Fleetwood MLA was added. If your plan is accepted I'll still be under a Fleetwood MLA. Truth be told I don't know how much it matters what MLA I'm under since all the neighbourhoods kind of overlap with each other, though Fleetwood probably makes most sense.

If we can't get effective representation without adding a Surrey MLA, I support your plan.
