    Terence Peel, Surrey

    The number of elected officials per unit of population in Canada is too large and needs to be reduced. Elected officials are expensive, costs need to be controlled. Provincial, Federal, municipal and education positions plus some of the other boards account for too much of our tax expenditures.

    Please consider the option of reducing and not expanding the number of MLA's. At worst keep the number the same and define a structure that consists of both population and area measurements.
